YOUTH ENSEMBLE OF NEW ENGLAND

ENSEMBLES & CLASSES

Learning to play an instrument well is very rewarding, but learning to make music with others provides a unique opportunity to experience the joy of sharing, teamwork and the power of collaborative synergy! Choose classes from MUSIC TIME FOR TODDLERS to music theory, history and composition.

LITTLE MOZARTS CLASS

Children ages 2-5 discover the joys of music and movement through activities that introduce the understanding of meter, rhythm, pitch, dynamics and timbre. This Orff based course is excellent preparation for early piano or violin lessons.

CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS JUNIOR WIND ENSEMBLE

Students in grades 6-9 explore traditional and contemporary windband literature in a variety of musical styles.

TPAC FESTIVAL CHORUS

Drawing from several area church choirs and smaller community chorales, members of our resident chorus come from a variety of musical backgrounds, most of whom are non-musicians that enjoy the experience of learning and performing music in a collaborative, supportive environment. This ensemble performs with the Atlantic Wind Symphony and TPAC Community Orchestra.

TPAC FLUTE CHOIR

Ouir flute ensemble includies all members of the flute family including piccolo, C flute, alto flute, bass flute, contr'alto flute, contrabass flute, and subcontr'alto flute. Varied and exciting reopertoire from transcriptions to original compostions.

TPAC JUNIOR BRASS ENSEMBLE

A brass ensemble for younger musicians, including trumpet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, baritone, and tuba players explore and perform a variety of music from Renaissance to the Beatles!

THAYER CAMERATA ~ TPAC JUNIOR ORCHESTRA

Younger orchestral musicians, including fiddlers explore and perform an eclectic repertoire of Baroque, Classical, and Romantic compositions plus charming folk songs, Early American hymn tunes, and Celtic music.

MUSIC THERAPY
